It is said that stretching forces during the massage improves hair growth and thickness in the dermal papilla cells.

Coconut oil

Coconut oil is composed of vitamins and fatty acids. It helps in growing your hair thinker, stronger and longer. Vitamins in coconut oil nourish your scalp and penetrate through the cuticles of your hair. Massage your scalp with coconut oil and apply it to all of your hair. Leave it on for few hours or one whole night and later wash your hair with clean and warm water.

Rosemary Oil

Rosemary oil is one of the essential oils which help in promoting hair growth and reduces hair fall. It has strong antiseptic properties that treat dandruff, skin infections, etc. It helps in treating hair fall naturally. It acts as a potent stimulant when applied directly. It has antioxidant and anti-bacterial properties which lead to faster hair growth.

Onion juice

If you can get away with the onion smell then this remedy is very helpful for you. Onion juice has shown results in treating patches of alopecia. You just have to take few onions and blend them. Later, remove the juice and apply it to your scalp and hair. Leave it for 15 minutes and wash off with a shampoo.

Shampoo

It is immensely important to understand your scalp type and opt for the right shampoo and conditioner. Also, you need to wash your hair depending on the scalp type. If you have a dry scalp try not over-washing your hair, it leads to more hair fall, and not washing oily scalp twice or thrice a week can also lead to immense hair fall. 

It is also important to note that the correct way of washing your hair can also control hair fall. First, water all your hair then take some shampoo in a container and mix it with water. Apply that mixture to your hair and scalp. Massage well and then rinse it with water. Completely remove water from your hair by squeezing it. Later, apply a good quality conditioner.

Conditioner

The conditioner works wonders for your tresses. A good conditioner repairs damaged hair removes frizz, volumizes, and smoothens your hair. Choose your conditioner wisely depending on the hair type.

Once you remove water from your hair post shampooing, take few pumps of conditioner and gently apply it to your hair. Try to avoid applying on your scalp. Leave it on for few minutes and wash it with lukewarm water.

Intake of Protein

Increase intake of protein in your diet. Try to have a certain amount of protein in every meal. Make sure your plate in every meal consists of 30% protein. Let it be any type of protein because your body needs protein. The major reason for hair fall is protein deficiency. Try to include

Cover your hair with a shower cap and leave it on for 20 – 30 minutes.  Later, rinse it with normal water using and shampoo. Use this twice a month.

Lemon

Lemon juice promotes hair growth. Lemon is used in hair oils and hair masks which help in reducing hair fall. The vitamin C in lemon improves collagen production which in turn improves hair growth. Lemon oil helps in maintaining a healthy scalp. Apply few drops of fresh lemon juice on your scalp and leave it on for 15 minutes. Later, wash it off with clean water using a shampoo. The citric acid in lemon prevents hair follicles from reducing hair fall.

Aloe Vera

Aloe Vera is one of the best natural home remedies for hair fall. It is affordable and easily available. It not only reduces hair fall but also smoothens your hair and conditions your scalp. It unblocks hair follicles and reduces dandruff. It creates a healthy environment to replenish and nourish hair cells. For better results, directly apply pure aloe vera gel to your scalp. If you do not have an aloe vera plant at home, try to buy an aloe vera-based shampoo and conditioner.

1)       Avoid using hair accessories like hairpins, clips, and rubber bands that cause hair breakage.

2)       Avoid excessive brushing.

3)       Avoid coloring your hair, bleaching, rebounding, and streaks.

4)       Avoid brushing over wet hair.

5)       Avoid hair styling products like blow-drying, straightening iron, and curling iron because it damages and breaks your hair.
