• I've been buying this product for years and years. There was no better tasting stevia around. I told EVERYONE about it. It was frustrating that Kal kept increasing the price to almost double what I paid for it several years. But, I was still so thrilled about the taste and colorie-free healthy sweetener Kal made that I didnt care. I became annoyed when they added maltodextrin. I called them and the woman I spoke with replied in an annoyed voice "its made from non-GMO corn so I don't what everyone's all upset about". And they claimed they added a small amount of it to make it easier for the machines to process. Still, I continued buying KAL stevia because it was still the best tasting stevia by far.Fast forward to last month when I ordered my yearly order of two 3.5 oz containers (lasts my family and I roughly a year). I was stunned, shocked and infuriated to find that they seemed to have substituted generic cheap crappy chinese stevia for the typical KAL stevia I had come to love and expect.The taste is now on par with the DISGUSTING stuff you can get anywhere. The taste is awful and has a horrid chemical after taste. I ordered two other stevia products since I ran out of KAL and they were okay but not like the old KAL. And I have some old KAL that I keep in some vials in purse and car and the difference between that and the new KAL is night and day. I tried it several times in my coffee and tea and its just plain nasty nasty stuff.shame on KAL for trying to screw over their customers yet again. I'm starting to dislike KAL as a company.
