Licorice is mainly known as a food flavoring or sweet ingredient for candy. But the plant has been used for many years in certain traditional herbalisms for its potential health properties. That's why Douglas Labs has formulated Licorice Root-V Caps so you can take advantage of this special plant.
Due to its licorice content this supplement contains certain chemicals that may have some positive benefits on our body. For example licorice root has been used in the past to help alleviate symptoms of certain gastrointestinal discomforts. This licorice in these supplements is deglycyrrhizinated. This means that a chemical naturally present in licorice has been removed which is a good thing because this chemical could exhibit some negative effects on our health.
