• After a shocking visit at dentist a few weeks ago, I started using xylitol from grocery store with great results: gums became firmer, teeth always slick and clean, tongue coating disappeared. It also started improving my skin tone and healing time. Long term sinusitis and chronic ear pain both resolving. Then I bought this KAL brand, not realizing 3 things: 1) it's made in China, 2) it's made from GMO corn, 3) it contains an unspecified amount of calcium silicate. DO NOT BUY THIS STUFF. The product is not as sweet so I suspect it has been cut pretty heavily with the calcium silicate. After using it for a week I can tell my teeth are not as slick, oral mucosa are starting to become inflamed again, nasal congestion and ear pain are returning.
