• As previous reviewers have stated, this tablet size is great for those of you who can pill their cats. If you cannot give the whole tablet, buy a pill splitter and halve them so they're smaller and give both. I've posted some pictures and you will see that the tablet is less than 1/2" in size. (I give another kitty CVS' version of Sennokot-S and it looks like it might be the same size or smaller?)I first tried opening Rutin capsules and giving it orally mixed with water and tuna juice and Pumpkin hated it. Then, I had it compounded at Wedgewood Pharmacy in chicken flavor and he HATED the taste! They have to mix it with almond oil to get it smoother. (my other kitty gets her Cisapride compounded there and the chicken flavor is palatable) It is my understanding that you cannot get this compounded as a transdermal; to apply to the ear. It has to be taken internally.I was a Veterinary Assistant for 11 years so I am experienced with treating animals. The reason why I'm expounding on this is to give a history so you can see what option better suits your ability to treat your cat. I recommended this as an option to my Veterinarian so clients can be proactive with treatment for their kitties.
