Description
Vegetarian Maca capsules are prepared from the dried root of Lepidium meyenii plants which are grown in the Peruvian highlands. The herb is gelatinized (steam-cooked) for digestive ease & optimal absorption. As an edible food crop that flourishes at the high altitudes of Peru’s central highlands, Maca has been grown and consumed there as far back as 1,600 BC.
