Apply coconut oil (or another barrier cream) around your hairline. Dont forget the ears! 2. Divide hair into 4 sections and clip into place. Dont worry if its not perfect, its just between you and your mirror! 3. Mix 1 part TRUE COLOR with 1 part TRUE COLOR Developer. 4. Starting at the front, apply the product from roots to ends. Work in 1/8" hair sub-sections for even distribution. Let the color process for 20 minutes. 5. Pull the remaining color through the ends using a comb and let process for an additional 10 minutes. Then shampoo, condition and youre done! Step 1 - roots 1. Divide hair into 4 sections and clip into place for easier color application. 2. Mix 1 part Clairol Professional Liquicolor and 1 part 20 vol. developer. 3. Apply to the roots & regrowth areas. *For this look we mixed: Liquicolor 6RR equal parts with 20 vol. developer. Step 2 - ends 1. Mix equal parts of Liquicolor & 10 Vol. Developer. 2. Apply through the mid-length and ends massaging and combing through each section for even distribution. 3. Process for 30 minutes. *For this look we mixed: 2 parts 6RR with 1 part 8R equal part with 10 Vol. Developer. Final Look 1. Rinse with warm water and gently emulsify until water runs clear.
