Its chemical name is menatetrenone and it's produced via conversion of vitamin K1 in the colon by endemic E.Coli bacteria. mk7 has a half-life of a couple of days when in a biological system. mk7 has also been shown to promote the health of bones and reduce pain caused by a disorder such as osteoporosis.
