Sterol 117 has undergone a reformulation. The formula is now vegetarian, there have been some exipient changes and the allergens have changed - fish is no longer present but the formula now contains dairy. Sterol 117 contains plant sterols, pine bark antioxidants and an essential fatty acid (EFA) complex Each capsule provides 300mg of phytosterols, derived from non-GMO soy extract This dosage provides 117mg of beta-sitosterol This active ingredient is a natural micro-nutrient plant fat, found in all plants including fruits and vegetables The recommended daily dose is one capsule per day Directions: 1 capsule daily on an empty stomach, 20 minutes to half an hour before a meal, or as directed. As fat inhibits the absorption of beta sitosterol, capsules should be taken with juice or water and not milk or drinks containing fat. Must not be taken by organ transplant recipients. Diabetics should only take the product under the supervision of a healthcare practitioner. If pregnant, breastfeeding, taking any kind of medication or have a medical condition, consult a healthcare practitioner before using this product.
