Bone Builder Extra Strength contains calcium, phosphorous and trace minerals to support healthy bone growth and density. The source of minerals in this product comes from microcrystalline hydroxyapatite (MCHC), which is sourced directly from the bones of cows. As such, it also contains some of the other less abundant nutrients found in bone such as the minerals zinc and potassium plus extra proteins like collagen and growth factors. Metagenics chose MCHC as a mineral source because the bones are made up of much more than just calcium and magnesium.
