I start by taking one of the matte shades and applying it all over my crease with a small blending brush. Next, I apply one of the deeper matte shades with a denser blending brush to build depth in my outer crease. Then I use a flat brush to apply one of the shimmer or metallic shades and really pack it onto my lid.
