Innopure Folic Acid contains the effective dose of 400ug per tablet, which is the level advised by the Department of Health. It is recommended that women planning a baby should take Folic Acid for at least one month before and up to three months after conception. Supplemental Folic Acid intake increases maternal folate status. Low maternal folate status is a risk factor in the development of neural tube defects in the developing foetus. Other Ingredients: bulking agents (dicalcium phosphate, microcrystalline cellulose), anti-caking agent (magnesium stearate) Directions Take one folic acid tablet daily, preferably with food.
