The herbal tincture of larkspur has dual action, both disinfecting and conditioning, and combined with vinegar it is 100% natural, but it is stronger than a lot of conventional treatments from the chemist's which usually contain artificial chemicals, some of which can cause irritation to the scalp. Delacet also doesn t require repeated treatments or combing (apart from cases of very severe infestations): simply apply once for 2 3 hours and it kills both the lice and their eggs, whereas most treatments require a repeat application to remove the nits. Delacet has a water like consistency, so it is perfectly suited to all hair types including including permed, coloured, Afro hair and dreadlocks, as it penetrates the hair with ease, and doesn t require combing. How much you need to use depends on the volume of hair treated. As a rough guide, please note that 3 little boys with short hair will require one bottle, but a girl with longer or thicker hair will need more solution. One way of judging how much Delacet is needed is to use a small bottle or a measuring jug and see how much water is required to make all hair wet.
