Description

IngredientsA subtle, calming tea to aid digestion. This is a blend of nature’s finest and most soothing tastes.A delicate mix of fennel, lime tree leaves, rose petals, peppercorns, cloves and ginger.Fennel is a highly aromatic herb. We take the seeds which have a delicate flavour similar, but nowhere near as strong in taste, as liquorice.Lime tree leaves have been used as a herbal remedy since ancient times for multiple purposes including blood thinning, treating mouth wounds and relieving swollen feet.Rose petals compliment the overall blend with an elegant, light floral taste. Peppercorns are the world’s most widely traded spice. Piperine is the chemical compound that gives pepper its distinctive flavour and sometimes gets right up your nose.Cloves are the aromatic, unopened dried flower buds of the tropical clove tree, part of the myrtle family. Their name comes from the French word ‘clou’ meaning nail.Ginger is the rhizome of the flowering plant with the wonderful name – Zingiber officinale. We scrape the flavoursome outer parts of the rhizome by hand and then delicately dry them to preserve all that gingery goodness.IngredientsA subtle, calming tea to aid digestion.
