Iron Bis-Glycinate is a dietary supplement that provides iron in a highly absorbable form*. This product is recommended to support athletes, Red Blood Cell formation, Hemoglobin production, menstrual, and energy*. Iron is an essential micronutrient. Essentially used in this way means that the body does not produce the nutrient; micronutrient means that the body only requires tiny amounts to function. The most important function of iron in the body is the production of hemoglobin and myoglobin (the form of hemoglobin found in muscle tissue) and the oxygenation of red blood cells.
