Cliradex is a natural, preservative-free lid, lash and facial cleanser that helps manage symptoms associated with many eye conditions such as blepharitis, meibomian gland dysfunction (MGD), rosacea, dry eye, Demodex, chalazia and other lid margin diseases. Unlike traditional cleansers derived from man-made chemicals, Cliradex is a natural way to keep your eyelids and skin clean, comfortable and healthy.The all natural formulation in Cliradex is safe for everyday use as part of a regular ocular and facial hygiene regimen. Cliradex is a moist towelette and is derived from key constituents of Melaleuca alternifolia, a special variety of tea tree oil. Cliradex isolates 4-Terpineol*, the most important ingredient found in tea tree oil.PLEASE NOTE: some tingling/stinging can be expected but care should be taken to try and avoid getting it in the eyes. Your needs may vary based upon your condition and the severity of symptoms. Each box contains 20 towelettes that each measure roughly 2 x 3 inches when unfolded. In managing Demodex, you should factor in the initial removal of the mites, as well as their 30 day incubation period, so a minimum of 60 days is recommended for an initial period. Maintenance varies by individual but after this time you may be able to maintain your eye health with more conventional wipes.*Terpineol (T4O) is an organic component of tea tree oil (TTO) that safely and effectively cleans and soothes the skin and significantly exceeds the effectiveness of traditional TTO. In fact, a recent study has shown that the T40 found in Cliradex's patented formulation is the most important ingredient found in TTO with even greater mite-eradicating effects than TTO itself.
