Lactozyme is a supplemental source of the probiotics Lactobacillus acidophilus (DDS-1) and Bifidobacterium bifidum organisms. Each tablet supplies 50 million organisms each of Lactobacillus acidophilus (DDS-1) and Bifidobacterium bifidum organisms when packaged. Although antibiotics kill bacteria, they don’t discriminate between the “friendly” and “unfriendly” organisms, so following antibiotic therapy, the balance between good and bad bacteria in the intestines can be upset. Probiotics aid in restoring this balance.

Each Lactozyme tablet contains 50 million each of Lactobacillus acidophilus (DDS-1) and Bifidobacterium when packaged. Contains an ultra-trace amount (<0.007 ppm) of milk constit are used in the fermentation of probiotic ingredients. This product is gluten-free.
