Organico Organic Asparagus Risotto is a risotto mix made with Carnaroli rice and asparagus. The 250g pack is made to a traditional family recipe by the Picco family, Organico's rice partner in the Po valley.

Asparagus makes up 2.8 percent of Organico Organic Asparagus Risotto, while Carnaroli rice makes up 92 percent. Vegetables, herbs, sea salt, olive oil and miso add further flavour to the mix.

The rice for Organico Asparagus Risotto is grown by the Picco family near Biancé in the Northern Po valley. The family has cultivated rice there since 1878 and uses only its own rice in these mixes.

Organico Asparagus Risotto mix contains asparagus, onion, celery, carrot, parsley and leek. These sit alongside Carnaroli rice, sea salt, rice flour, extra virgin olive oil, corn starch, miso, yeast extract and spices.

Each Organico Organic Asparagus Risotto pack contains 250g of risotto mix. Cook it following the directions on the pack, adding water or broth as instructed. The mix already contains rice, vegetables, herbs and seasoning, so little else is needed.
