Rofenac Gel (50 gm) is a topical non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) featuring 1% diclofenac sodium, designed for localized relief of pain, swelling, and inflammation from rheumatic conditions like osteoarthritis, tendonitis, sprains, strains, bruises, backache, and sports injuries affecting muscles, joints, ligaments, and soft tissues. This smooth, white gel penetrates quickly into the skin for targeted anti-inflammatory and analgesic action by inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis via COX-1 and COX-2 blockade, offering symptomatic relief without systemic side effects when used as directed.
