Milk thistles hard, dark-colored seeds are ground and used to make a tea or tincture, encapsulated, or added to foods. The whole seeds are also sometimes added to foods. The seeds have a slightly bitter, oily taste and a faint aroma. Place in a muslin bag to make a tea. Use as you would flax or hemp seed powder sprinkle on salads, add to burgers, in smoothies and fruit juice. Our bulk milk thistle seed powder is kosher certifed and non-irradiated.
